Correct. My ex had student loan debt before we got married, and she tried to get me to "help" her with it during our divorce. I'm glad I didn't.

Another for freetaxusa, I've only ever paid for state filing, and it's like $15. Worth it. They offer various "services" that naturally cost extra, but they're all optional. Never had an issue.

Those change.org petitions always go right into the round filing cabinet. I've signed so many of them, and not once have I ever seen one come into fruition.

And then.... What is that money going to get used for, exactly?
