  • So there are.

Mbin forked before a lot of kbin's cooler features got implemented, I wonder if they ended up developing them too. Piefed seems closer but I haven't really explored it yet.

  • Exactly! There is truth in some of them, though I can't remember which ones!

  • Yum! Probably the wrong time of year for it now, but in tomato season you could do some big jars!

  • So one of the crysalis is getting near hatching time and I can see his/her wings. It wasn't attached to anything very solid (I think it was on a leaf that someone else ate) so I went and tied on a lifeline for in case it breaks off when they are trying to hatch.

Very cold tonight though so I am a bit worried.

  • Feedback I forgot the other day is that kbin no longer exists.

  • Tomatoes? Idk you just covered the main bases.

  • My worry was that it's some military sub messing around in their habitat.

  • For those of us who do skip the AI summaries it's the equivalent of adding an extra click to everything.

I would support optional AI, but having to physically scroll past random LLM nonsense all the time feels like the internet is being infested by something equally annoying/useless as ads, and we don't even have a blocker for it.

  • We are legion!

  • Done! I could not get it to work on outdated firefox but its fine on brave.

  • Their parents haven't been captured (NZ used to physically do that in the 1970s, it was a really bad scene).

Personally I'm in favour of just naturalising our existing undocumented workforce after 20 years. But I can see why people think it creates an incentive etc.

  • Definitely. It's been really shocking seeing all the changes to frost lines etc over time.

    Your dad sounds cool.

  • Ohhhhh. Dog origami, got it! 😄

But actually yeah I see what you're saying now.

  • Not just you. She does look like she's preparing to do that.

  • The thing that gets me about this whole tragedy, is that in terms of international best practice we already knew this method of housing poor people is unusually prone to fires, for the exact same reason - firetrap + arson combo - as the fires we have had here in New Zealand in recent years.

  • That is what counts. Too often people will "just fold these sheets" on fitted sheets I have already folded.

But... folding a dog??? Do you mean like to get a labrador into a hatchback or something?😆

  • Omg interesting!!! I wonder if that means theoretically they can grow cacao too? Local chocolate!

You can grow a few viable bananas for personal supply at least as far south as the Coromandel but I was thinking things like this plantation.
