Absolutely insane. I've been workingfor my current company doing customer service for just over 5 years and I am making just shy of $50k/year. 16 years to claw your way to 100k after all the school you surely went through... Boggles my fucking mind. We all deserve better but this is just wrong.

Perhaps, but fwiw I am a disability chat rep for a company and I often help people with hearing impairments. All of my training stressed that you treat everyone the same until they ask for different treatment. I suppose the term "differently abled" arisea from this as well.

Being a chat rep, of course, I do not deal with the vision impaired nearly as often.

React culture is fucking cancer. People can't just enjoy things, they need to know how others react and if they are enjoying as well. I feel like I knew this before YouTube react channels were a thing. I had a friend that used to turn and look at my face CONSTANTLY when we were watching stuff, especially if he'd seen it before. It got obnoxious. He'd turn his head, I'd notice it in my peripheral vision and know something was about to happen in the show/movie. It's like he was addicted to seeing people's reactions.
