And the tunnels (I-895 and I-95) forbid things like propane, so if you have some of that, you're off to the west side of the Baltimore Beltway, which is already extremely busy. Good luck with that!
(Relatively local person here who travels around Baltimore frequently. I've used the bridge that collapsed on several occasions to avoid the tunnels while carrying propane.)
This is really cool. I've been out and about and have gotten notification the laundry is done, and it's like, welp, that's not very useful information right now. Thanks!
He, actually. Snowball was a character. I remember when my girlfriend/now-wife moved in, she thought Snowball hated her. I was like, "Are you kidding? He loves you! That's why he's curled up on your legs all the time."
When I was making burgers, we had a routine where he'd wait at the sliding glass door to the patio, and I would tear off a little corner of cheese, open the door, then he'd turn around, and I'd toss the cheese in front of him, and he'd gobble it up. He had major food allergies but that was his little treat.
I could see that working in theory, but in reality we both still have our old phones - in fact I had to find my wife's old phone this morning and shut off the alarm she'd left on.
The good news is that he's really careful with his toys. It's rare that he destroys one, and even then it's more from wear and tear, not outright shredding it like many dogs. So the fish might still work!
And the critics of Columbus WERE RIGHT! He was vastly underestimating the size of the earth. If North America hadn't existed and it had just been one big ocean, he and the expedition would have perished in the middle of nowhere. Of course, the size had been calculated before his expedition (the actual values turned out be extremely close to what had been calculated), so he should have known better. There's a reason he had trouble getting funding for his expedition...
I'm still somewhat frustrated that our history classes taught (maybe still do, I've been out of high school a long time) that all the naysayers thought the earth was flat.
Yeah. In our case it's worth noting that the social security number system wasn't designed to be used the way it is used. It was just meant for retirement tracking.
Now if we tried what you described, we'd probably have people screeching about the number of the beast and new evil Democrat deep state conspiracy theories. Sigh.
I was mistaken in my earlier comment. It's my desktop machine that has 50 gb for everything but home, and it's running very short on space. The server, which is what I thought I was thinking of, has 25 gb for / (not including /var, /tmp, or/home) and I'm using just over half of that space.
Interesting, my wife and I just got Real IDs in Maryland and didn't take our social security cards...but now that I think about it, we used our passports for ID, so maybe that's why.
Eh, I can't remember the last time I needed to show my social security card. It might have been 2006, when I moved to this state. It's EXTREMELY rare that we need the physical card. We need the number more often, but most people will have memorized that.
