This is peak liberalism. Thinking old papers have this magic property of shaping reality is the root of that mess that is capitalism

It's funny now that Putin called the persecution in Donbas by the Ukrainian army a "genocide" we can actually call them deniers back

The fact one can now lie about something entirely and freely verifiable on the internet is the proof that the West does in fact have the most effective propaganda system in the world

I've seen someone on the r/ claiming that Putin has a number of references to imperial Russia, and that wouldn't seem too far off his nationalism and anti-communist rethotic. I'm curious why you say it's dumb to call him "tsarist" (legit question no irony)
