Just blocked the reddit@lemmy.world and my feed is soooo much better.

Really frustrating that all of those above was spammed into all of those communities.

I loved all of Asimov's books/stories, I've recommended to a number of friends but a few have had the same issues with the foundation books as above.

I thought the scale/short-story history jumping style of the foundation books was a really unique approach to storytelling. I thoroughly enjoyed the series.

Snagged the audiobook from my library this morning & started it via libby. Audiobook was an excellent idea, thank you!!

Just rewatched this with my wife the other day, such a good movie!

Ive tried to get thru dune a few of times but it hasnt clicked for me yet, I'll use your comment as a reminder that I need to give it another go :)

This is the most interesting one I've read so far.

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe this year is the year I make the same jump. Really good, practical use of the tool.

Finding what makes you happy and focusing on making sure you're unapologetically taking care of yourself is a good place to start.

This goes for work, relationships, hobbies, friends, whatever.

Can't say I've always done a great job of it but for me it feels like it has made a difference the older I've gotten.

And of course, social media (including lemmy) is horrible for self confidence so don't binge if you can help it.
