A lot of modern games just adhere to a basic formula and as such, I tend to get bored of them after a while. First Horizon? Nice. Second Horizon? More of the same. Horizon DLC? Even more of the same. It gradually got a bit more boring with every new entry.
So what I did was...I got an Xbox 360. Loaded it up with 5TB of games. And then I just picked something random to play.
It made me discover Catherine, such a weird and awesome game.
I think, getting out of your comfort zone can refresh your enjoyment of gaming.
Toothaches are awful. I basically had ruins in my mouth for years and I always had one wound or another in it.
Somehow I didn't really notice any pain, until it got really worse and I finally overcame my fear of dentists. When I finally got to the doc and all of these problems were treated my whole body just felt so...silent.
The pain must've always been there, I just endured it and subconsciously blended it out.
Add to that, any streaming content that is not available in the original language. Here in Germany, a lot of older movies are only available to stream with the terrible German dub. I'm not paying for that so I'm not paying at all.
Users of the chronological feeds engaged less with the platforms
Because there is no endless content. You will eventually reach the end of your feed, close your browser and go to bed, sleeping well and staying healthy.
But of course Meta prefers you doomscrolling through the entire night and feeling like shit afterwards. Just one more ad bro...
A lot of older people sit around and bitch about the younger generation but we are the ones that raised them.
I believe that is a global problem, though. A lot of countries have massively aging populations.
I feel like a youngster here in Germany, and I'm in my mid-30's. Lots of old bastards telling my generation we are lazy and need to get off our asses. Sometimes I wish we could just take all these people and put them somewhere else so I don't have to hear that shit anymore. :D
It's gone up in price with the Definitive Edition, guess it's grown a lot in popularity.
This is a postapocalyptic RPG done in RPG Maker with excellent storytelling and the weirdest weapons and attack patterns I ever experienced. You can attack enemies with your own stench or even frighten them by telling them ghost stories.
I've felt more for the pixelated companions in this game than I've ever felt in a AAA game. It's so full of humour and despair, playing through this is such an emotional rollercoaster.
I'm not ashamed to have cried

Exactly. It feels rewarding to receive karma but that dopamine rush is actually what Instagram, TikTok and all the other corporate-driven platforms out there are exploiting. We don't need that here.
