Do you think that will make it better or worse? Cause you know it's going to swing back the other way at some point, and as aggro as they already are toward the left, can you imagine how they will react when they have legitimate reasons to think they're being targeted?

It's the Democratic Party, if you don't go into it already prepared to be disappointed you haven't been paying attention. :P

Not as far as I know? I was always pretty liberal, and then in the last 10 years or so I've slid sharply to the left as the bullshit in the world has increased. shrug

Nope. I was on reddit for like 14 years and I couldn't tell you what my karma was because I cared so little about it. I paid a little attention to up votes and that's about it.

Everyone is a nerd about something. That's how interests work in general: you only ever get called a nerd for being interested in something that others aren't interested in, but they're also interested in stuff you're not interested in, so..

The money flowing into their pockets from the bad guys is doing a pretty good job of convincing them that everyone but the rich are the bad guys.
