Probably dodged a bullet anyway since there's only 3 technicians and they're putting a lot of responsibility for the shit payment they're handing out.

That really seems to answer the question, and I don’t think you need to assume any discrimination from them.

They’re a small team, they need someone to come in and hit the ground running. They feel like you’d need training/support despite your technical knowledge.

Don’t get hung up on job rejections, just move onto the next. It’s a numbers game.

This seems to be painfully missing the point of what they were saying just to have an argument and be offended for the sake of it.

It sounds odd. I’d have a think about whether you’ve previously annoyed them in some way, but if not then they might just be grumpy. In which case there’s nothing to worry about, and you just do you.

You’re comparing cash grabs to what used to be flagship AAA games.

AC has been a shit show for a while now, the Batman games used to be incredible but the latest are cash grabs.

As you said, graphics have never been a priority for Bethesda games either, they just struggle to get anything to run well.

I don’t think it’s fair to say graphics are getting worse based off those comparisons. You should look at the top games like FFVII Rebirth, Alan Wake 2 etc. which look incredible.

But to give some credit to your point, people don’t upgrade their machines like they used to and the current gen of consoles has been out for a while as well. So the hardware is a bit stagnant which may be having a knock on effect to the graphics of games as well.

Cyclists can most certainly go into a blind rage as well, acting like drivers aren’t people.

I cycle myself and there are 100% times it’s warranted, but let’s stop with the idea that cyclists are enlightened beings that can never do wrong.

Some people cycle around and break the rules of the road like idiots, and put themselves in danger at times.

In general it’s crazy how people view each other as basically ‘non-human’ entities while driving.

It’s not just cyclists, drivers do it to each other and people on motorbikes.

This happened to someone I know.

Don’t know the full details, but apparently he ended up going to prison for it even though nothing actually happened, as obviously there wasn’t an actual child involved.

He’s kind of a fuck up, but mostly just kinda stupid and with an alcohol problem.

Is he a predator and therefore one of the most evil people on the planet? I don’t think so.

He’s a fuck up who’s never had success with women, and someone reached out and was kind and interested in him.
