  • It’s in the shitpost community, it’s like a textbook shitpost…

When you watch TV do you say the actors are liars because they’re not actually the characters?

It’s supposed to be stupid and ridiculous.

  • I don’t see the reason to give him any attention. What he says has no meaning, even he doesn’t understand it.

It’s a guy who’s bipolar and off his meds, there’s no argument or discussion to be had. Would you argue with a crazy homeless guy on the street?

Because that truly is the stage that he’s at, he just has the income to keep himself afloat.

  • I mean, if it’s a valid word for what they want to say, then I don’t really see a problem. It’s pronounced the same, but it’s a completely different word.

Same with a pork meatball or cigarette in the UK.

  • I heard a lot about JK’s views and honestly thought it was exaggerated. Went to her Twitter once tho and it was literally all she was going on about.

Kinda like Graham Linehan, she’s completely fallen down the rabbit hole with this stuff. The DMs are fake tho.

  • Driving used to stress me out, but you honestly just get used to it. Your brain just autopilots 90% of it once you’ve been driving over a year or so.

The 90% autopilot frees up your brain to focus on the big picture of what’s happening. You’ve just gotta be careful you don’t slip to like 95% autopilot where you’re not paying attention anymore.

  • I don’t really have an issue with ceiling lights, but I don’t see the point either.

Can be sitting in an office where basically an entire wall is windows, and someone will still put the lights on… why? There’s enough natural light.

  • That’s kinda… odd

Not relating to poor self control at all sounds like being dishonest with yourself or some sorta personality disorder.

Poor self control at times is like a fundamental part of being human. I’ve never met anyone who hasn’t had poor self control at times, even these “self control” guru people talk about it as something that’s always there but you need to overcome it.

  • Yes!

It’s a problem that a lot of people have, some are willing to acknowledge it and try to take steps to work around it.

Some people were born into the social media generation and have been fed a product designed to be addictive their entire lives.

  • I looked into this before, but I found the options were too stripped down.

    Ultimately I need:

    • Maps
    • Music streaming
    • Web browser
    • Email
    • Wallet functionality

Then there are miscellaneous apps that I need as well, some that don’t have browser functionality (local bike rental app) or something like a workout tracker.

Thing is, if you start adding functionality for the above then it’s just a regular smart phone and there’s nothing stopping you using the apps you’re trying to avoid :/
