Yeah, this is why we need campaign finance reform. Isn't there another country that limits the duration of their campaigns? That would be a good place to start.

Even though the delay itself feels like a crime, I agree that voters giving Republicans a clear trouncing this November will accelerate their irrelevance, and make more severe Trump's sentence. If clear enough, the entire house of cards could come tumbling down.

Yeah, why go through the trouble of installing a puppet government when we can offer "assistance" with a military base? How many hundred bases are there around the world now? And have any been decommissioned ever?

Yeah, the Democratic party really showed us how they think about positive change when they blocked Bernie. We're seeing the same dysfunction with how Harris has softened her position on a number of issues. That party machine mainly thinks of itself.

'Had a similar experience with a 2020 Bernie rally in Los Angeles. Big arena, lots of energy, long lines. It was loud but a good experience. I'd recommend it at least once for a candidate that you feel strongly for.

PS: I went on to canvas for Bernie. He won the primary in California!

In the Julia Roberts move "Leave the World Behind", they mention a process of destroying a country. (I vaguely recall that the process was attributed to a real person.) One of the steps was to take down the internet. With lack of information chaos develops, and the country destroys itself.
