What area was that in? We had a similar-looking situation this morning near our place; fire, police, and energy company.

No pressure! Yeah, that was me :) I think I've done it five or six times now. I try to do it a few times a year but last year was a bad one for me so I only did it once. Hoping to do some more this year.

She has her husband at home for another month or two which will be a huge help, and her boys are old enough to help out (late primary/early high school). She's just asked for meals so far; I'm pretty sure there's a few of us doing it so they should be covered for a good while.

My friend had a baby last week and this week her appendix burst. No bueno. I'm making some meals to take to her fam; I've got a veg lasagne, meat sauce (to have with pasta or rice, or add beans and it's a chilli, burritos, etc.), and a pesto chicken pasta bake. Do you think that's a good spread? They have three boys (plus the beb).

The washed cotton vintage sheets at Canningvale are a delight if you're looking for more one day. I've just ordered a second set to try and secretly replace my partner's old scuzzy sheets 😬

Yeah, poor little guy has a sore butt. The vet shaved it for us which was a huge help. Thankfully he seems to be on the mend, eating and drinking etc. properly.

I went last year. Definitely worth it.

That's what we're trying to do. I've been looking around for a groomer but there don't seem to be many. I'll ask if the vet does it.

I know 😩 He wanders off completely fine but when I'm trying to help he just hisses and bites and scratches. Hopefully the vet can help him and maybe help us get him cleaned up.
