  • The US is currently doing well relative to many other major economies, including Europe. Look at the growth of the US economy vs Europe in the last decade.

    Saying the US doesn't have good economists is just wrong. It's one of the things they're quite good at, for better or worse.

    If someone wants to criticize the US for it's heavy focus on capitalism and assorted social problems, sure, but the US economy is absolutely massive and regularly produces products and concepts adopted internationally.
