  • Why do you care if people know what Android device you're using? To me this is a non-issue.

Social media and messaging apps strip meta data when you share media, so for the most part no one can see the information you care about. It's only when you start sharing content via services like OneDrive where people will be able to see the meta data.

  • The only meta data saved is the Android software version.

My Samsung S21 screenshots show "Android UP1A.231005.007.G991BXXS9FXAK"

Generally when you share media via social and messaging apps the meta data is stripped automatically. So for the most part everyone is perfectly fine even with regular media where you have things like geolocation meta data enabled.

  • At least once every 6 months I come across a top Google result trying to download malicious scripts. The web searches are innocent, eg. "Iso standard metric thread" or "bee keeper hive monitor", which are both search terms in the past where a top result had malicious scripts.

  • You bring up an interesting point. There are opposing opinions on everything if you go deep enough into the topic, even in STEM fields too.

It'd be interesting to see a Wikipedia that provides pages on the same topic that present each opinion. So the base/overview page on the topic states the summaries of each opinion with a link for further reading. Each opinion page states there are many opinions on the topic and it just presents one. Each page then suggests for further reading, view the base/overview page where the user can read about other opinions on the topic.
