Sync knows the comments are deleted - there's a trash bin icon there

I saw a comment mentioning that you'll see certain types of deleted comments if you're a moderator of any community, probably that is the case here but only lj would know...

I'm not sure if Boost does this, but some apps such as Sync may load the community directly from the community's home instance rather than via your home instance under certain conditions

AFAIK Lemmy.world (the largest Lemmy instance) was issued a takedown request for something unrelated, and conducted a review of the piracy communities following that.

Unfortunately they decided to remove/unfed a few piracy communities as a result, such as this one on dbzer0.

So while we are still all federated, lemmy.world users can no longer see or interact with the !piracy@lemmy.dbzer0.com community ☹️

Apple opted to use a proprietary internal ribbon connector for the wlan 😭 there is a reverse engineered third party adapter available but the cost isn't worth it for me

On a serious note though that must be annoying, having just 70% battery to work with when you expected 100% is not great

I'm a bicycle rider who's also learning to drive - the one thing I've found is that it's very easy to end up hidden behind a driver's A pillar.

In driving lessons I try to move around in the seat more to see around them, and when I'm riding my bicycle I try and position myself in areas where I can be easily seen, using lights whenever possible to additionally provide a reflection off the road in dark conditions.

Being hidden behind the pillar is really scary because you're literally not seen at all
