  • even if politicians change their tune and seem to want to be more privacy conscious..
    we should hold their feet to the fire.
    make sure they have 110% followthrough across all platforms. not just a one-off to diss tiktok.

  • i think the concept of "donation" is a relevant piece of this puzzle.

    my samsung phone gives me several options (charging,mtp,rndis,etc..)
    its surprising that your tethering is off. it might seem that its considered a seperate technology.

    the fact that gtk, qt, firefox pull in a hundred deps is their own problem.
    not a problem per se..

    ask software to install itself twice and it becomes noticable how enormous the code is.

  • pinephone has hardware killswitch. but that cant protect you from other devices like other ppl phones.
