Ergonomically, you should use the Shift (or Ctrl or Alt) key on the opposite side of the keyboard as the key you are modifying. This helps prevent carpal tunnel issues because you can keep your wrists straight and not be twisting them unnaturally to reach key combos. You should also not have your wrists resting on the wrist rest or other surface while typing as that also contributes to carpal tunnel problems. Just use it in between stretches of typing (or maybe people just hunt and peck these days, I dunno).
I think our protests will grow in size once people start feeling the more devastating effects in their personal lives. Yes, I do think there's a lot of denial going on, and there's lots of gaslighting not only by magat media but also by mainstream media (all owned by oligarchs), with very little coverage of the protests. What little coverage they do, they're mostly focusing on the tesla/anti-Musk ones, and other things only if they get a lot of social media attention. And lots of misinformation and pro-trump propaganda on social media as well that downplays the severity of the transgressions being perpetrated.
There are lots of protests going on, as well as lots of angry people going to their representatives' town hall meetings and/or calling and sending messages to them. Unfortunately it's Congress who has the Constitutional power to act and they've abdicated. The Repubs are fully on board with the trump regime and the Dems are in the minority and have very little power. Most of them are just wringing their hands as usual. There are 3 branches of government and two are fascist-ruled. The third (judiciary) has no actual power if the other two don't abide by their rulings.
It's hard to know what more the average person can (legally) do right now.
All the easier to pass the info on to his Russian handlers. Seriously the probability that at least some of their phones are compromised by Pegasus or other state-sponsored spyware is very high. As Pete Buttigieg said, "These are very rich and powerful people. They won't personally suffer the consequences. This is a game to them."
I haven't found anything so far saying who invited him in. Just passive voice that he was "inadvertently" included. So in your source that it was Waltz, did it say whether he personally did it or was it one of his staff? I'd be interested to know how it happened. Did someone misunderstand who "JG" meant? (apparently it was just his initials). If so, who with the initials JG did they think they were inviting. I'd appreciate any link with that info if you have it.
Every time I see a headline saying trump's approval rating has plummeted, I look and it's always in the mid to upper 40's. Every time. It never changes.
"You're talking about a deceitful and highly discredited so-called journalist who's made a profession of peddling hoaxes time and time again...This is a guy who peddles in garbage.
The point is that even if they can (though trump is probably eliminating it), they shouldn't have to do that just to get the same prices the other customers get.
YES! This is a pet peeve of mine since I don't use a smartphone (by choice in my case). I also hate the stupid loyalty cards. It's all for tracking and exploiting their customers, fuck that. We're always told to boycott Walmart, but most grocery stores are no better than they are (all merged into just a few chains that have driven out the independents) -- and at least Walmart has the same prices for everyone in the store.
It's happening to me, too. No VPN. They always fix issues like this pretty quickly (couple days or so). It's always a constant battle to handle youtube's ongoing attempts to block them.
Meanwhile, I suspect that someone on the inside quietly looped the journalist into the group as a way to expose what's been going on. If so, that person is in grave danger.
OTOH he did stay on it as long as he could while still being able to protect himself by saying he didn't think it could be real and most likely a scam or attempt to entrap, plus the thread was basically over by then anyway.
No heads will roll. What most stories miss is that the main reason they didn't use official channels for this (and most likely many of their other conversations as well) is that they don't want to comply with the Federal Records Act. They don't want there to be a record of a lot of the shit they're saying and doing and plan to do.
Ms. Vance is scheduled to make a series of cultural stops after her arrival on Thursday, separate from Mr. Waltz. The national security adviser is supposed to be traveling earlier in the week with the U.S. energy secretary, Chris Wright.
First, don't meet with them. Don't give them a diplomatic escort, but maybe follow them around with a few troops in case you want to stop them going to certain places. Or don't let them in at all.
I assume they plan to land at the US military base--I don't know if that means they don't have to ask permission to enter Greenland's airspace and land? But depending on how much Denmark wants to scale up the tensions, they could either refuse them permission to land or let them land but refuse to let them exit the US base into Greenland's territory.
Either way, start procedures to close the base and kick them out. They've given more than enough justification by threatening Greenland. Whether you really want to close the base or not, threaten to and then you can negotiate for some kind of payment to let the base stay. That's what trump would do and what he would respond to. You have to stand up to a bully or they'll never stop bullying you.
Ooh, clever way to train yourself!
