  • Lol they basically did that before. They booked Rage Against The Machine to play "Killing in the Name of" live. It has the line "Fuck you I won't do what you tell me" and they asked RATM to censor it while they played. The BBC was then somehow surprised when RATM didn't do what they told them. source

  • By far the worst is the costa rican national bank:

    • Must be between 8 and 16 characters long
    • Must have at least 4 letters and 4 numbers
    • Can't have consecutively repeated characters (can't do "aa" but can do "aba")
    • Can't have vowels or Ñ
    • Must not be one of your last 6 passwords
    • Must be changed every 90 days
    • Also forgot that their website and app try to block password managers and copy and paste
  • I'm guessing they're referring to FedNow, which is supposed to be like zelle/venmo but backed by the fed.

That being said it's only starting to get rolled out and I have yet to see anyone else whose bank offers it.

  • Part of the issue in the US is that the exceptions in these laws are made purposely vague to make it too risky for doctors to be able to help pregnant women unless they are literally about to die. Not familiar enough with the reasonableness of different week limits for abortion but the main way it's framed here is that it's mostly an issue between a woman and her doctor and not the business of politicians

Good video from John Oliver on this topic which just aired: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6eH2BItdo0M
