  • Doesnt actually matter in this case. After the install you can revert the tweaks and your still good. It just trys to prevent the install.

    I have even clonned full win11 installs to systems that do not meet the minimum requirement. And it boots no problem (ofcourse disable bitlocker before clonning if it is enabled.)

  • Fail2ban might not be a good thing. You can flood the blacklist.

    You just have to run a continous attack with spoofed source addresses. use IPv6 addresses and just wait until the whole ipv6 space is in the blacklist. by then that file will be huge. might even crash some servers

  • Unifi is simple to use but you can hit its limitation. A other brand I can highly recomend is Mikrotik. They have some small and cheap devices to some fairly high end gear 100gb gear. No licensing cost or anything.

  • rolling release is not the same as bleeding edge mind you. While Tumblweed is very close to bleeding edge it does actually do a load of quality control and automated test before making the updates available in the repos.
