  • & testing

Edit: that's weird. Thanks for the feedback!

Edit2: it looks normal in the web browser weirdly enough.

  • Feel free to make a post in this community! I know some apps break off into proper issue trackers but keeping it all here is just a bit easier for me.

  • Not yet but that would be cool!

  • Connect dev here. Sync is a great app and I think the developer did a good job and it's benefitted a lot in terms of polish from being a Reddit app for years. I feel Connect is more or less at feature parity while being just over a month old. Maybe in terms of differences I would say Connect will never track you, doesn't include ads or data collection, and isn't a subscription service. But that's true for a number of open source Lemmy apps too and I also think Summit, Liftoff, and Thunder are really great choices too.

  • Hi, this would be filters within the main settings area. Hope you're enjoying Connect!

  • Is this with post action bars turned off?

  • Thanks! This will be fixed in the next release (tomorrow)

  • Possibly, it sounds like a 2-column layout similar to a tablet? I know Tablet UI has been requested a lot lately.

  • Connect dev here and there is comment navigation between parent comments!

  • Currently no as there is no Kbin API but I'll add support once that changes!

  • Thank you for the support. I think Connect is 90% feedback driven at this point haha. My goal has always been getting more people using Lemmy so monetization isn't really a focus for me as I'm doing this for fun. Sending you love back fellow canuck!

  • If you're on the beta are you still seeing this on v1.0.116?

  • Thank you for the feedback! I'll add a setting to disable page headers.

  • Connect dev here. I can promise Connect will never have ads or subscriptions.

  • Connect dev here, glad you're liking it!

  • Does it work for you in the browser? I might need to add a app-side comparison check against the home instance because that link (this post) on lemmy.world only has 3 comments when it should be 5 so I'm thinking 2 of the comments haven't federated over.

  • Hi! That's under Block Settings -> Blocked Instances includes Comments.

  • Hi, this should now be fixed on 113. Thank you!

  • Hi, thank you for the feedback! Couple questions if you don't mind: Is this on version 113? Is it possible these communities have been blocked? Do other instances also have this issue?
