  • kinda the same, honestly. Just turned on my Switch months ago, renewed my subscription and got hooked again.

RPG was fun. Haven't played the original one, tjough. Music, enemies are OK- Haven't played the endgame, if there's any.

Difficultywise, it was fairly easy and light game, but didn't expect else 😄 or maybe I did too much grinding.

So, I liked it. Though not sure about that 60 EUR, but oh well.

  • Lots of Mario Kart 8DX and just finished Super Mario RPG

  • glad you found it :)

it was the very first thing I changed back, too x3

I mean, come on, who the hell turns off the phone by voice command? especially Bixby doesn't even know my native language. 😅

  • hell yeah debian

  • (Super) Tux Kart just got wild in the past years :O

  • IIRC it was Ubuntu 8.10

  • RIP card game communities

  • Visual Basic looks strange nowadays, huh...

  • just leave a grub floppy in the machine and boot from there, you won't even notice.

  • openarena?

  • in 2017, the Wii U was an already open book for homebrewers IIRC, that's why I asked why considering TAS was almost no-go at the time.

thanks for thr write up though!

  • My 3rd party Switch dock needs some strange ritual to actually work, but still not sure what the correct steps and orders.

It's a fairly early 3rd party dock, from the times when there were articles about 3rd party docks blowing the Nintendo Switch's charging IC or something like that.

Tho this dock works, but only if I plug in the charger, the HDMI cable and the Switch itself in the correct order. Otherwise no video, only just charging.

IIRC, the order is HDMI, charger and Switch, but I may be wrong, it was a while ago I used that dock.

Probably some funky device detection or bug in the dock's code, but it's amusing. Especially after others see me trying and trying and they are like that was the moment when I blew my Switch, but no.

  • I usually go with strange long animal names... like "Desert Cottontail"

  • I don't use any Apple products and am not planning to change this in the near future, but man, the stuff I've read and seen about the M chips did left me absolutely amazed.

  • It would have also been as hard to TAS on the WiiU at the time than to just practice the level.

What do you mean by that?

  • funny thing is recently I was toying with the thought to create an app exactly like this, to signal 15, 30, 45 and 60 minutes with one, two, three and (four + hour of day) beeps, just like a church/temple bell or grandfather clock...

but I don't know if it exists already.
