  • Yup, that’s how I feel. NixOS is the new Arch.

  • If you’re deploying Immich with docker, you can probably specify any storage device as its storage backend.

  • I’m curious if this is caused by the fact that wine/proton is an API emulation layer. Whatever API calls this app uses for benchmarking may be less efficient, or maybe emulated, rather than talking directly to hardware. It should also be noted that these benchmark numbers are probably not indicative of actual game performance, as games likely use different API calls that are well or better optimized.

  • Are you the fuzz? Feds? FBI?

  • Why the heck are they asking for email addresses??

  • Do you get better numbers with Windows on the same PC?

  • This. It’s likely it’s a session problem (expired session).

  • Your hidden posts can be accessed under your profile - the middle button on the toolbar at the bottom of the screen, which usually has your username/instance name.

  • I hear you. I run my own instance in Docker with watchtower for auto-updates. Voyager gets lots of updates, however, so watchtower doesn’t keep up for the time being. Hopefully with time things will stabilize more and there will be less frequent releases.

  • Neat! Nice of them to do that. It seems to be a few releases behind, though.

  • I noticed that as well; seems like a regression bug, unless that feature has been deprecated.

  • Check out https://vger.app/ ; it’s a PWA so it’s “installable” to the launcher.

  • I see your point... votes from a compromised instance (or instances) and such. How is this more or less vulnerable to a centralized model?

  • Did anyone ever claim that the Fediverse is somehow a solution for the bot/fake vote or even brigading problem?

  • Hells yeah! Although my 96% is a bit roomier than yours. I'm rocking the AJAZZ AK966; pretty much stock, other than the switches. I replaced the stock Kailh Creams with Akko Yellow Sponges (Spongebobs). For a prebuilt, it feels amazing.

My other one is a DasKeyboard Professional with custom keycaps, but quite honestly, I find the AJAZZ to be more impressive. I'm shocked Das Keyboard uses costar stabs. There's cheating out, and then there's cheaping out. You'd think for $300US they'd splurge on half-decent stabs!

Mine looks a lot like this (stock keycaps): https://i.redd.it/rfyg5s106bf91.jpg

  • That’s ridiculously cute! Is this a real photo?

  • Not sure if it has anything to do with the Star Trek series, though… or does it?

  • The ending… wait for it. It’s worth it!

  • I haven’t tried it yet, but on the desktop I intend to try the PWA with Brave browser. In terms of privacy, it’s hard to beat on any platform.
