  • I never understood it either.

    I moved from iPhone 6s to my current phone, a Poco F2 Pro, so it was a no brainer to go with Full Screen Gestures for me since iOS always has been gesture based (regardless of my device having a physical home button).

    I think I made the jump when A10 was a thing, so I briefly tried the Android buttons and I wasn't a fan, sadly IT IS YET the only way to have a third party launcher working with nice animations, because Android broke the animations since A11 if I remember correctly.

    Every time when I am in a mood to try another Launcher that ain't a stock launcher or Pixel Launcher I go back to the Android buttons, but never to the two buttons.

  • I initiated my Fediverse trip on Lemmy thanks to Reddit and Spez, and then "moved" to Mastodon, currently trying out some Android clients, may I ask what is bad with Mastodon?

    I just discovered how the tags work, and I don't know if Twitter has something similar there (because even when I have a Twitter account my usage there is quite limited, and all points to be even less in the future lol) but I really enjoy having my customized feed, created by me and not by an algorithm.

  • Some hashtags "algorithm" like Mastodon does would be nice, but I think it is very similar to your subscribed feed already, but it could work for something like "powering up" your interests.

    • Even though I've completed DKC2 literally hundreds of times since I first got it for the SNES in 1995, I've only 100%'d DKC3 once. I can blaze through DKC2 in no time, but not this one! I love it.

  • I don't think ChatGPT fits there, sometimes it just gives you some good practice or very general answers that won't be specific for your current setup (being an OS, or ROM or whatever).
