The apps that I know that support mark as read posts while you scroll and hide read posts are:

Sync Summit Voyager Infinity Connect (which handles it differently)

Connect is very good, the only thing I don't like is how to handle the hiding read posts, I like more how Voyager, Summit and Sync do it.

I am using both, Sync feels more polished for now.

Well, I just tried again, now from Voyager and Connect for Lemmy and no dice.

You need root and I think it only works in AOSP/CAF based ROMs.

I guess the number of downloads, well we all are subscribed since some weeks ago, so not that fast I think, but it is a good number regardless.

Well, as my main stock launcher is the cringe Poco Launcher, I'd say Pixel Launcher Extended.
