These are my favorite apps in preference order right now:

• Summit
• Boost
• Eternity
• Voyager
• Thunder
• Sync (seriously the damn mark as read on scroll needs to be fixed to be on top 2 again...)

I'd tell my issues with each client just as I did with Sync, but I don't want to sound mean... (Also they are very specific for my usage and my device I guess), so I chose to keep things positive because we have plenty of pretty good clients! :)

Of course I am missing some other clients but those are the ones that stick in my "Social" folder the most time.

Playing Mario Kart DS with people I did not know.

The DS was my entry to the beautiful world of online gaming (it was free, can you believe it?).

And now I see this world kinda meh, perhaps I play (or not) the wrong games, but nothing can beat a perfect 1 player game.

What board games do you recommend?

Do you use voice chat with your friends playing online?

Subscription only mode I think.... A huge nope for me.

I really just want a podcast app that replaces Pocket Casts (I use the free version).

What I look is a client that works with pretty much all the possible gadgets (even a damn Amazon Alexa) and have Sync between all of them).

Pocket Casts does this to me but the Alexa client is kinda broken (it never saves/sync the progress) and the PC client is behind the paywall.

Spotify is a close one for what I want... But I just don't like it.

Huh, TIL that is how the ads worked with Podcasts... Does it transcode the audio file?

It is funny to have Spanish ads while I listen to English podcasts lol (native language is Spanish).

I don't know man, it was awesome when you had pretty much what you wanted in Netflix then when they started to focus in their "original stuff" and losing content (and the competition rising) I stopped to bother with this trend and downloaded all my stuff with Softwarr

Nowadays all my streaming needs are very well covered with a single subscription, Real Debrid, which is cheaper than any streaming service and surely has more content than all of them, even combined... I use it along with Stremio and Kodi, which both offer a better UI than most streaming apps lol.

Huh, is this the same project as the Kitsu addon for Stremio? I'm pretty sure it is, well I hope the transition is smooth.

It is crazy how my allergies improved while using the mask... But I have also read that the mask provoked allergies to other people?

Ugh, and I thought my 6 GBs of RAM phone sucked for multitasking... You are discouraging me to get another one with at least 8 GBs of RAM lol.

Have you checked Smart Dock? I think it is cool, and a faster way to launch apps.

Yeah, I don't see myself carrying this thing to every hotel I stay at... Even less because I am not buying it lol.

Not a couch game, but I enjoyed Farenheit, Heavy Rain and Beyond Two Souls with my gf (we took turns).

As for couch games Kill Zone 3, Borderlands 1, 2 and TPS have been excellent!

I also made her play the Narnia game for PS2... Never again, I hope she agrees to play the Titan Titan game :(

EDIT: well, I somehow forgot about Mario Kart 8 and Super Smash Bros Ultimate... I was thinking of a more cooperative play style I think.

The fact that this bug also occurs in Sync for Reddit is so sad, as we all know that app won't get another update :/

The lack of that feature alone was that made me move to Sync, the first day that it was gone I dropped it lol, still waiting for the, eventual update.

Check out Summit for Lemmy, I found it to be as smooth as Sync.

IMHO the search engine built in Lemmy is pretty good, despite the client you use... It is better than Reddit's at least.

From what I have seen, it may be a good time to start an open source initiative for a new site. I'd love to hear about what projects you are working on!
