they nuked Vanced because they distributed a modified apk. Revanced is completely different, and it allows you to patch your own youtube apk with no ads, etc, avoiding legal issues.

99% of the userbase doesn't even know what Hi-Fi music is, so doubt adoption will be a thing. Look towards apple music, deezer, tidal, etc for hi-fi music.
@Skates@feddit.nl already answered your questions regarding librewolf, but let me help you out with the privacy game with a couple of resources to get started:
TheNewOil.org is an amazing resource for beginners. I would recommend checking this one out first.
privacyguides.org and their lemmy community : !privacyguides@lemmy.one These guys provide private alternatives to popular software. Check out their recommendations tab on the website.
anonymousplanet.org is a more advanced place to learn. I would consider doing this after you get the grasp of privacy.
Now some youtube channels:
The Hated One on youtube has god tier info for privacy. Some of his stuff is advanced but explained very well.
Techlore on youtube (take his info with a grain of salt, I personally do not like him but he has some decent content for beginners)
And most importantly, don't be overwhelmed! Privacy is a step-by-step process, it is long and sometimes annoying, but you will be glad you started when you did. Do not be pressured into doing more steps if you are not comfortable doing so - taking your time is essential.
Let me know if you have anymore questions. I'll be glad to answer them!
Using a vpn on a VPS kills the use for using the vpn for privacy, and, to a degree, anonymity. You do not share the IP with anyone so you are still trackable while using your vpn.
You should consider switching to firefox. Brave will be affected by the elimination of Manifest V2, essentially killing privacy on chromium browsers (ubo doesnt work as well, privacy badger is useless, etc). An extremely easy way to switch to firefox without the hassle of configuring it be to private is to download the "Librewolf" fork - comes configured at stock with 99% of the privacy features firefox has.
You just rambled on for a bit without really answering my question: how does taking the proper measures (VPN, changing port, updating client, using anonymous mode if available) not make you more private during the file sharing?
I understand how the bittorrent protocol works, but with constant randomization you should have no unique identifier except if youre the only seeder on 10 old torrents... So please clarify
Shouldn't a VPN hide you? I get that port + user agent can be an identifier, but all you have to do is stay up to date and change your port every so often, then you're good. If not, let me know, cheers
Not too sure. Right now I have a 1-to-1 forwarding which will expire later tonight and I have the auto-renew on. I will let you know if the port switches up or not.
Edit: I would not recommend Perfect-Privacy, their autorenew does not work.
I used to use Kavita for ebooks and it was a pain to organize them. I usually just dump a bunch of .epubs into books directory, but it only recognizes books INSIDE of a folder. So, I just made a script to create a folder using the exact name and put the epub in it.
It's mainly what I'm waiting for. Im using connect, but it's still not what I wish it to be, granted I doubt theyve had enough time to develop the app just yet.
