Memmy was on track for a while but imo their user interface is awful in comparison to Apollo. I'd highly recommend checking out Voyager if you liked Apollo's interface, its almost a 1:1 copy

I was attempting from a laptop the entire time and it didn't look like pre-orders actually went live until ~7-10 minutes after the hour.

I've been loving Voyager myself but I'd also recommend giving Avelon and Lemmios a shot too.

I took their post to be insinuating that those negatives all come with large masses of people joining a platform but ultimately I don't know if there was enough context in the post to know.

and you can still have that in whatever defederated safe zone you want. i'm sick of this "the fediverse isn't for the masses" sentiment. YOUR community might not be but, the fediverse is literally made for the masses.

i don't necessarily agree with OPs ideas, but not because they're trying to attract new people to the fediverse.

I am still astonished that there are people over there still dealing with this shit.

For migrating your best bet is probably Thunderbird or Outlook, whatever you prefer. Use that app to export a copy of your mailbox from the old mail servers, then import all of those into your single icloud mailbox using the same application.

I've never migrated mail into an icloud mailbox though so there may be some hiccups there that I'm not aware of.

1. You likely only changed DNS records, so old mail is still sitting on the previous mail servers. icloud isn't a 'typical' mail server so migrating old email to it would really just be copying all of those old emails into your single icloud mailbox. what've you done so far will only affect new email being sent to the domains you've imported to icloud.
2. icloud aliases all of your custom domains to the single icloud mailbox. So no, you won't have separate mailboxes for each 'account', everything will happen within the one mailbox.
3. configure thunderbird for your icloud account/mailbox only since all of the emails point to that single destination.

With Matrix (at least as far as I understand), if you aren't logged in when the message is posted you can't actually decrypt it. I think Matrix would actually be worse than Discord for an announcement like this.

Nope, I've never had anything more severe than some malaise for a couple hours that evening. With the moderna shots I'm usually down for 36 hours and on the mend for another 8. the 2nd booster that happened in quick succession gave me a 102 degree fever before i started taking tylenol for it but i consistently run 99-100 even with tylenol dosing.

I don't disagree at all, I should have elaborated in my original comment but I guess I was more yearning for better suited vaccines for people that get hit hard by them. Maybe we could take a smaller dose or different cocktail?
