One of the reasons I'll never work corporate again. I wasn't paid enough to tell people they need to go to HR when their account has been locked. My job was supposed to be computers, not front line damage control for underhanded employment practices.
Second reason is Unions didn't fucking exist for IT and everyone hated me for raising awareness.
I love this. It's kind of a rule of the internet that if you tell it to stop doing something it'll just make everyone more determined. I want to see every group that interacts with the administration be so resolute to give them shit.
I really liked running a server for 7 days to die once in a while, helldivers 2, Warhammer darktide and Warframe are my go to's, Warframe might be too much investment though.
I want to move to Linux, I tried a few months ago with a few distros but ran into two issues. One, I'm a content creator so easy access and use of my digital tools is paramount.
Secondly I make extensive use of VR and the support for VR graphics drivers was not good. I heard many duct tape and bubble gum solutions to run virtual desktops but I can't mess around with my operating system every day when I need my machine to run and do what I need it to do without lots of little roadblocks.
I want to move to Linux but I do not think it's where it needs to be yet to take me off of Windows :(
I'd raid a Google data center and work on rebuilding the Internet with whatever remains of their infrastructure. Wait is this us talking about our apocalypse plans or...?
Easiest one ever, ship of thesius here I come!
