  • Thanks for the info. I've heard of it but never tried it.

Does it at least have easy ways for users to filter what they don't want? E.g. block lists that users can subscribe to.

  • Ay, there's the rub.

Even the article's author chooses to exclude some types of content, like porn.

  • So now we finally know what Leela's "homeworld" is: Planet Smoothie!

  • Crewed by transgenic mice!

  • Just off the top of my head:

    1. Pressuring the Fed to cut interest rates and other actions to reduce the US dollar's value
    2. Massive payouts to agribusiness, especially maize and sugar producers.
    3. Try bringing in some fruit or a salami into the US. I dare you.
    4. OpenAI, Meta, Anthropic, xAI etc ripping off the entire world's entire content.

Maybe someone else can fill in the rest.

  • Kept with SoA until I tired of the "3 concurrent life-or-death crises" formula, with a new life-or-death crisis introduced each time an older one reached its end.

All principal characters even went to prison for a year, with no such crises for the rest of the MC, and then as soon as they got out, straight back to "3 concurrent life-or-death crises" as usual.

The rest of the MC should have realized "Hey, things were so chill when those guys were away, let's get 'em sent back".

  • Yeah, I tried P&R twice without it clicking for me. Only once I got past season 1 did I begin to enjoy it.

  • That's it, thanks!

Wikipedia says not NASA but the German Space Agency and European astronauts who went up to Mir did use them for exercise.

  • Thanks for the info.

Personally, I've been avoiding Flatpaks anyway on my main machine, but not out of security concerns. Mainly to do with size and the update frequency.

  • Thanks. Several lemmings have given their opinion, and it seems the experience depends on the person.

As someone who gets car sick just looking at a map, I would only try this with a predetermined safe word! :)

  • I see now, this is linuxmemes@lemmy.world, not @lemmy.ml. My bad, comrade.
