  • I can only see the white/gold when it's color-corrected like this, and I think some people just have some form of auto-exposure correction in their minds. If I remember correctly, the original photo is the one on the right.

  • Do program. But ARK: Survival Ascended, and the studio behind it - Wildcard - Are absolutely the most atrocious group of people to have ever graced gaming.

They set release dates, and not once in nearly 10 years have they ever hit a target - and not by like days or something, sometimes years. They planned a map release a year ago, and have pushed back its release date like 6x now. They adjust 1 thing only to have 5 other things break. They constantly blame their playerbase. Some of their modding community are better as 1-man-teams than their entire staff seem to be at UE5 development. I've seen single people release maps and content that rival Wildcard's entire production team.

Either there's a LOT of nepotism going on, or they're plain incompetent. And I greatly subscribe to the idea of "Never attribute to malice, what could easily be explained by stupidity". Because never once have they actually been malicious. They care for their game and community, but holy shit are they god-awful at it.

  • The REALLY crazy thing is, if you had to care for and account for everybodies vulnerabilities on the internet, you'd never say a god damn thing. I'm not going to go mute because someone within the billions that are on the internet might be offended. Offense is taken, not given.

  • Doesn't matter, in a free country they can get offended by whatever

Great, that's fine - and I'm allowed to make fun of them for it in that case.

But, just letting you know -- it's bringing the mood down. In a place that's dedicated to laughter and humor.

We don't need this hyper-offended guilt-olympics in this place. We get it, you're a victim everywhere you go...but could you go do it somewhere else?

  • Yeah, but one of those governments can get you right now.

The other one has to cross international borders.

Honestly, using a foreign social media site is a hilarious move.

If I wanted to criticize the government, especially my own, I can see the reasoning behind using a foreign platform to do it on.

  • Harden - To be come harder relative to the position you currently hold.

i.e. Just need to be harder than a limp noodle. Not asking someone to be stoic in the face of every life challenge -- just hard enough not to be offended by pixels.

  • Wanting everyone to tiptoe around you because you can't handle a picture on the internet, is for people who need to harden the hell up. News flash: The world doesn't give 2 fucks about your sensitivities; and you're crying about it on a community for humor. There is going to be jokes here that offend, I'm sure of it.

  • The problem is that it's not good enough to be 99.9% reliable, when it takes 4500 color switches. I wouldn't trust Anycubic with ANYTHING; I repair machines for a living and they are the WORST when it comes to filament machines, and somehow really great when it comes to resin machines.

The K2 Plus combo hasn't proven itself yet. And like you said, welcome to 2025: most people don't DIY their machines any more.

I don't even own a Bambu (I own a VZ330 and a Voron 2.4 310); but I have hands on familiarity with every machine on the market - I've been doing this for 12 years. I've set up every multicolor system under the sun, including palette 3 pro and ERCF -- and the fact of the matter is: The only one that stays 99.999% reliable is the AMS.

Yes, things are getting way better - for sure. I'm really hoping the K2 Plus "CMS" stands the test of time. I really like that its got a larger option and comes with the 4-way "hub" by default.

But, even with Creality pulling out the stops on that thing -- Bambu labs engineers came from DJI drones; they hit the market with fresh eyes, and they still have more protections in place than their competitors. That makes them the easiest to use for people who don't like to learn stuff, or manage/repair their machines.

  • Oh no, not my mod history! Whatever will I do? You'll see all the echo-chamber mods that removed my posts for having a different opinion! Oh noooooooooooooooo

Anyways... you could discuss the topic at hand...
