The “Party For The People”, “Ninety-Nine Percent”, or whatever.
Take on BOTH the democrats and GOP, and constantly and endlessly keep dominating the conversation that they are bought by special interest and you are representing the people.
Become popular overnight. Keep hammering home it is not about skin colour, race or country of origin, but about the billionaires that aren’t happy with paying no tax and having billions. Make it about the 99%.
And it won’t be easy, you need 2 Justices on the Supreme Court to Magically drop dead in your first term, and you need have supermajority in both houses for at least 4 years so you can overturn Roe v Wade and most importantly Citizens United. Don’t just overturn but make amendments to the constitution so this can never be up to 7 muppets with life long appointments.
It is the only way you’ll get your country back without excessive violence. The two status quo parties are hollowed out from the inside. And both are infiltrated by foreign interests.
I think the puppet will get rid of the constitution, and then get sick enough or “retire” and appoint the shadow prez as the first King Of America. It’s not as far fetched as it was before November last year.
Trump never wanted to be Prez again. He hates it. He just wanted to stay out of jail, and this was the only way. Now he has 3.5 years to convince his base that the kingmaker is their King, and then his job is done and he can go golf and retire.

As a non US person, it is deeply sad to read this two party crap even at this advanced stage of the collapse of your country. When are you lot going to learn that you already don’t have an impartial head of state, you don’t have impartial supreme court. Everything is political in USA. So you really fcking want to make sure you have more than 3 parties. You’re still not thinking outside the box, and you’re keeping this us them dynamic alive.
With the weaponisation of the DOJ, the dems have Kompromat on them too. They are all scared. They are all walking the same line. That’s why Bernie is so powerful, and people are doubting if AOC is up for the job.
The GOP is infected by Trump and anything from the McCain era is long gone. The DEMs have failed to lead since Obama. There are no two parties left. There is a carcass of an old political establishment leftover, and the only guy saying anything that makes sense is a geriatric that can drop dead any day.
Two parties will always get you to this kind of impasse. Truly saddening to see the lack of creative political thinking on a progressive platform like Lemmy.
Respectfully disagree that this is a correction. To me correction implies that the stock was more or less fairly valued prior to the correction.

I don’t think this market is correcting. It may look like it for a while. The AI bubble and companies like Musk who are valued by groupies, not investors may actually really crash mush harder.
