  • Yes, you have correctly inferred my use of the term generational

  • Yes the markets love stagnation. I bet the investors who bought during the pandemic are thrilled!

Lay offs must be the start of the journey, right?

  • This is exactly what I expected. Lay offs and return to work policies are smoke and mirrors for managers trying to steady a sinking ship.

  • Bingo. Capitalism has thus far rejected the blockchain, which is generally evidence that it doesn't solve an important problem either efficiently, safely or cheaply.

  • Alternative headline: Company in death throes tries anything to survive including cutting off own head

  • I wonder if this is generational. When someone says meme, I think advice animal and Impact font

  • "technically this thievery isn't covered by law"

    "technically this what?”

    "OBJECTION!”

  • Average conservative:

My children: "I love them deeply and want a safe world for them to live in"

My grandchildren: "they are the future of our country, holds back tear"

My great grandchildren onwards: "fuck them, hope they all die of skin cancer, or from a tsunami"

  • The UK government have already shown they are categorically incapable of enacting any of their tech laws. The flaw is always in the premise and when you trace it back to the source you'll find only incredulous luddites and Teresa May bulk buying chastity belts.

  • Appreciate it being current affairs, but there's been a visible shift in the lean of the content on this sub past few days

The 1 day old account speaks to that.

  • Couldn't manage the straight answer, huh? I suppose that would categorise you as "troll"?

  • Wtf is happening in this community. Has it been coopted by right wing trolls?

Like, downvote me, but give me a straight answer too.

  • Oh no, I don't think so. Please continue your baseless guessing game.

I notice no one answered the question in the root comment. Care to give it your best shot?

  • I use butterflies

  • Oof, wildly off the mark there, but go off

  • Allow me to explain what they were going for: demoncrats bad, orange fan mad

  • While someone who hasn't can at least know its about stuff getting shittier, and guess the rest from context.

My guy, this is literally the problem I was describing in the root comment - they don't guess the rest from context, they just continue using it incorrectly and subvert the point of having the word entirely. if you want to call something shit you can say something like this: "this product is getting shittier".

  • Yeah I agree. I suspect he didn't know the article would blow up as much as it did
