  • positive news

The point is that it's not positive, not more than an article telling you that tomorrow it will be sunny.

    It's at best mild.

  • What @Atemu@lemmy.ml wrote. It's hard to grasp for me too, but apparently it's allowed in the US, and even a very spread practice.

  • You chose to base your accound on lemmy.world. The advantage of federation is that you can live in another server that is more akin to your tastes, while still being able to interact with lemmy.world if you like.

  • One can keep using good software even if others don't.

  • You are misinformed too.

This is only about the Mozilla Corporation. Hence, "the ones that make Firefox".

The ones fighting for an open Internet are the Mozilla Foundation.

  • What did people eat?

  • It's okay to pay for a service that you use daily.

I don't, but I disagree it's "to throw money away".

  • Hurry

    Jump
  • I don't get why there are so many fonts

    Because anyone can design one.

  • Fira Sans / FiraGO by Mozilla, and the new SUSE font by SUSE.

  • how it calculates the navigation from A to B

It's still dependent on the quality of map data.

  • Mapy.cz is still quite decent. I live in Italy and a few friends happen to know about it and praise it.

  • No, but it's an alternative to GMaps or HERE WeGo for car navigation.

  • Theoretically stores in Europe are forbidden from selling 18+ games to underage customers.

Practically, almost no one follows this. Although digital storefronts like Steam do, some parents do, and more importantly there could be age restrictions on Youtube and Twitch gameplays.

  • You can still use Google Push notifications with microG.

  • Please consider that saving someone's job is worth the 2 minutes more that you spend waiting in line at the cashier.

  • You know you can take the good part and discard the second one?
