needing a paid vpn to torrent without getting spooky ISP notices is a pretty big barrier for me tbh :|

I'm not sure if games actually can support multitouch on Linux unless wine supports Windows' touchscreen APIs, plus by default touch does mouse emulation instead of native touch

Mir is wayland-based now :p

Junk Store works well too

snapdrop.net seems to go down all the time, I stopped using it a while ago and switched to LocalSend

neither of them work over the internet though so they don't really fit the article
