There is probably not an easy way to do that on the spot. Do you think the artist traces out the dimensions and then makes the piece at home and brings it back?

It would be nice if there was a way to group communities across instances so you can view them all at the same time. I would love to create an "Android" group that has all the different Android, Google and Google Pixel communities on one page.

I joined Lemmy about a month ago and left Reddit. I already new that it was still a work in progress so I was fully prepared for the inevitable hiccups. It's already come so far in just a month! Apps are coming along nicely and everything is working pretty smoothly (besides the recent hacking situation). I really hope it continues to grow and thrive.

But I don't mind giving money to Google for using Google Music/YouTube Music. The no ads on YouTube is just a bonus. I'm paying for the convivence of playing any song I want on any device anywhere I am. And I assume a portion of that fee goes to the artists, although I admittedly don't know how that works.

That makes me sad. Fuck those guys!

How do you get that unlimited with a custom ROM? They don't even give that to Pixel owners anymore.

Why? I have it for YouTube Music and it works great plus no ads on YouTube.

I just pay $11 for YouTube premium. I did it entirely for YouTube Music (Google Music) but the ad free YouTube was just a nice bonus.

Last night a hacker(s) used an exploit to manipulate the content on multiple instances including lemmy.world.

I recently discovered that somehow I set up billing for a VPN directly from the company and also through Google Play. I probably got a renewal email and just followed the instructions. I went back through my bank statements and I've been double charged for probably at least 2 years and just never noticed it. It was only about $10 a month. I just feel really stupid for not noticing it until now and it's entirely my fault. I cancelled the one through Google Play. You live and you learn!
