Where I live, people give zero fucks about which direction the spaces are aligned. Even with giant arrows painted on the lanes, they will drive down the wrong way every damn time. I will stop my car and wait for their dumb asses to back up the way they came before I move. I could honestly care less which way you go into a parking spot, but driving the wrong way on one way lanes drives me insane.

I'm curious about this as well.

They like to throw "woke" around too.

I have not read a single comment anywhere on Lemmy on any post about Sync that takes it to the highly exaggerated level you made it out to be. On the contrary, I have seen many many users express appreciation to the dev and acknowledge how well the app is designed, but respectfully voice their surprise at the unusually high cost to remove ads. Just because a person thinks $20 for an app is a bit steep, doesn't mean they think the dev is a "FUCKING WORTHLESS MORON".

Who's is making assumptions? There are 3 representatives. 2 of them are black and 1 was white. The 2 black men were expelled and the white woman was not. Those are facts not assumptions.

A good pocket knife or multi-tool like a Letherman or Gerber. I always have a pocket knife on me and a multi-tool in my car. Either one gets used pretty much daily.

The story is basically that it's a really nice looking app, but $20 to remove the ads is a little steep comparatively. They also have subscription options which rub me the wrong way. Those are just my opinions though. If it was the only app available I would probably be much more vocal but the fact is there are dozens of other apps and more in development so it's not that big of a deal.

I just noticed some other comments mentioning that and didn't realize there was a different one-time fee to remove ads. I only initially saw the "ultra" subscription options. You're right though, $20 is a bit high but not too far off. I would pay $10 if I was sure this was the app for me. It's honestly a nice looking app. I never used Sync for Reddit. My favorite was always Relay.

Everyone is getting bent out of shape. Just use whatever app you like best. I have 5 apps installed that I'm testing including Sync.

That being said, my 2 cents regarding Sync: I don't mind paying for a great app like Sync, but I'm not crazy about subscription models. I know there is a one time option but $100 for a mobile app is beyond nuts.

EDIT: $100 is for the lifetime "ultra" plan. It's $20 to remove ads.

Well I guess not everyone is going to like every episode, or every show for that matter and that's ok. I can't stand Discovery. I gave up somewhere in season 2. Just couldn't take it anymore.

So many people were ragging on this idea. I think the episode firmly shut them up. This was top notch Trek! Fantastic from start to finish. I want more! Now they're complaining about the upcoming musical episode? Haters gonna hate I guess.

For real! Like, how can you be a Trek fan and not like SNW?? It's fantastic!
