This could potentially apply to me as I have a SG3100 that'd now EOL with no direct replacement, I was thinking of getting a non netgate appliance but restoring my PFSense plus to that new device, this now means I'd be forced to get a subscription to TaC to use Plus on a non netgate device? Wording isn't very clear to me.
Yep, those datacaps are complete nonsense and they know it. My bill was so high because I had to pay for unlimited data because 2 people working from home and streaming videos almost everyday always goes over their cap.
Comcast / Xfinity. Have been forced to use their services for years until a viable alternative arrived in my neighborhood, paid $110 a month for internet to be down at least 2 days a month when my wife and I both work from home. All calls and tickets and emails were met with "you're not using out router and we don't see issues on our side, sounds like a you problem".
Almost left for ancient Century Link pipe when internet was out for 17 hours one day, called 3 times and finally got a competent person on the line not saying the above. Instead said they had done maintenance in my neighborhood and when they sent someone out to look at the uplink it was magically working again. Filed for a service refund thing since it was way below the promised availability and I had to reschedule meetings because my hotspot was slow and they gave me a $1.35 refund to my $110 bill that month.
Their script has places you can specify a certificate and server name in the main config file inside your bitwarden data folder. Probably no need to use another container to accomplish the thing. For example in the config I disabled SSL and have my FW as the reverse proxy going to nginx:80.
People keep saying those phones aren't small without saying what size or current phone is small enough. The fact the base galaxy phone has shrunk from 6.2-6.3 inches is impressive enough IMO.
I also have a handful of athom smart plugs but I went the ESPHome firmware route directly from their shop. Just connected to WiFi and HA picked them up immediately.
I also just tested on windows with Strict privacy set and the 3 addons mentioned and I got my browser has "strong protection against web tracking" and unique fingerprint output.
Not trying to say you're wrong or anything just playing devils advocate and sharing what I'm seeing.
Latter part may have just been a bad experience, I've seen about 60 movies across the 3 denver Alamos in the last 3-4 years and only once were people loud, and they got a warning and removed.
It has completely changed my workflow on my work computer and kept me from going insane since my company only allows windows. Having the separate VM I can still use all native Linux tooling and docker-ce is great.
Headline is confusing at least for me, I first understood it as the melt is at an all time low which sounds like a good thing, but article mentions just sea ice only which makes sense if that is at an all time low.
I've been using it for the last month and set it as the default for my phone. Never really used google assistant but HA one works great for controlling lights, shopping lists and reminders (all when connected to home WiFi obviously).
I have plex open on my pfsense to US only IPs and see lots of requests blocked from overseas crawlers and some curls from the US, I moved it to a different external port and nothing but expected traffic after that.
I haven't seen the movie and was avoiding most things about it until Paul Hutchinson who actively helps in trying to capture and identity child trafficking perpetrators and was involved in the funding and producing of the movie went on the Jordan Harbinger Show. I liked his discussion and stuff about his life and experiences which is most likely more important than the movie.
Until now my SG3100 experience hasn't been bad at all. I've been using it since like 2018 and don't have much to complain about thankfully.
