  • Now that's a sign of a healthy company!

  • I'd like to see his tender feelings bruised a lot harder.

  • Which, in a two-party, first-past-the-post system, amounts to voting for Trump. They simply could not realize this.

  • Excellent breakdown. Well done!

And on top of all that, the article is specifically about Microsoft urging people to get rid of old hardware, which I take to mean NOT current-gen, bleeding-edge gaming hardware. So my suggestion was about not being forced to upgrade your hardware to keep having a usable computer.

  • It actually started the day after the election. People are actively searching for ways to escape this shit-hole country.

    I know I am.

  • It's true that the political system is sick, but blaming Obama for it is 100% bullshit. How the fuck would he have "secured the Supreme Court?" How would that have worked?

  • That food is just going to rot in warehouses, then.

  • No he didn't. Oh, he says he did, but those Democrats should ignore it and continue working until the orange asshole has to send in his DOGE-stapo. It's not a legal firing.

  • The answer is always going to be, "Because you're running the incredibly bloated Windows operating system."

  • Nowhere did I say that was the "ultimate method." Every single thing the orange asshole tries to do should be obstructed and interfered with in every way possible.

  • Make him do it. Make him do it over and over. New contempt charges every time one of these asshat lawyers refuses a lawful court order. Take up all of Trump's time with having to continuously pardon his own lawyers.

  • Throw. That. Lawyer. In. PRISON. There may be no way to enforce the law on Trump himself, but make lawyers afraid to do his dirty work.

  • Indeed. We've forgotten our history on many levels, and as such, we're looking pretty well doomed to repeat it.

  • It hasn't been for a long time. SCOTUS already declared Trump king, and Congress has completely abdicated its constitutional role to remove lawless presidents.

Trump is the most obvious symptom, but the underlying cancer is a deep-seated streak of fascination with authoritarianism in this country.

It's easy to forget this, since the United States ultimately sided against the Axis powers in WWII, but there has always been a sizeable contingent of full-throated fascism supporters in this country.

They've spent decades honing their messaging and figuring out how to break the minds of Americans, and Trump is the culmination of that project.

  • So, not that it matters anymore, since this is now a dictatorship, but that law is only applicable during a declared war. I wonder who Congress declared war on?

  • Dang. There's a QR code in the left side of the mural. That earlier "optimistic era" may have just been a few years ago. Things are getting much shittier very quickly.

  • Dear early 2014,

Next year, David Bowie will be diagnosed with liver cancer. A year and a half later, it will kill him. It is absolutely imperative that it be found and treated earlier than that, when it hasn't metastasized yet. Get him diagnosed and treated now. The future of the planet depends on it.

Also, apropos of nothing in particular, here is a bunch of evidence that Donald Trump, the reality show guy who posted all that racist "birther" crap about President Obama, is a tax cheat and a scam artist, and works for Vladimir Putin. Get the IRS on his ass.

Good luck, and may your timeline work out better than ours has.

  • That's because he's a diplomat. Rutte is no friend of Russia or Russian proxies (like the bronzed turd).
