  • For sure, I've always said that for the most part it doesn't really matter. Make an account on anyone of them and if you don't align with that instance in the long run you can just hop to a different one.

  • We have those in Belgium too! I always thought it was just MSG and bouillon combined.

  • I love my R36S, but I hadn't heard of retroid and man does it look amazing.

  • Ofcourse, and stocks might fall over the short term, but thoroughly vetted companies have a much higher probability of bouncing back. Diversification and thorough vetting at the time of buying is what experts recommend, not panic selling.

  • Thanks for explaining how profits work lmao

Saying you make your profit when you buy the stock means you have a clear plan on when you'll be selling the stock. A dip in your stocks is an opportunity to buy, not to sell.

  • Profit is made when you buy a stock, not when you sell. You only buy stock from a company you have researched and genuinely believe has long term potential. Things like this shouldn't be altering your perception of the stock.

I'm paraphrasing but that was a major point in "common stocks and uncommon profits" by Philip Fisher.

  • Science doesn't need politics to tell what is what, it's science who should be telling politics what is what. Ofcourse politics can block science, e.g. this article.

  • I get your point, but having Signal in a "Get Federated" list is very misleading at best.

  • I think they eventually figured out mass doxxing isn't such a good idea

  • A plain advertisement on a user focused tech forum? Is this your first day on the internet?

  • Are you in the US? Then either guns or lawsuit

  • Pretty accurate, but I would say a realistic nerd with an audiologist sister-in-law

  • Makes sense, it's more of a bobsled feeling than a loop feeling.

  • Both can be true!

  • Friendly reminder to not use pokey thing into those grills, use a mounting putty, stick it on there and be satisfied when you pull it off. Same thing if you have wireless earbuds where one ear is a different volume.

  • A while ago I went to Terme 3000 in Slovenia, they had a looped style waterpark ride. Just as crazy as is looks, I guess the tilt angle prevents major injuries? Because that slide has been open for a long time. It took no effort to clear the loop as well.

Edit: For those curious, it's a pod-style release you can see on the image, the floor disappears under your feet. The green one next to it is one of the steepest in Europe IIRC.

  • Two headsets ago I bought a G933 from Logitech, mainly because it had an AUX input on the USB-dongle which I thought was pretty neat, but that one had big unnecessary RBG strips on the sides of the earpiece. The most ridiculous usage of RGB I had seen till date. But I programmed an interface between CSGO and the RGB on the headset to indicate my health so the people watching from behind us at a lan could see it.

Anyway, I've always preferred white LED's and RGB can rarely replicate pure white.
