my interpretation of the part where they pull the guns on the high evolutionary is that he had always made himself to be a god to them. by saying he doesnt believe in god(s) he is admitting that he is not a god, and thus not worthy of their devotion.
itd be like if a cult leader admitted it was all fake right before making everyone "drink the kool aid" and them turning on the cult leader.
i feel bad for the employees who had to deal with it and clean up after and the guards that got assaulted. i dont feel bad for the above store level managers and execs who have to deal with this shit.
thats because everyone is trying to treat ai as if its what movies promise us. its not there yet, if itll get there at all. it can be a good tool in the tool chest but its far from being the only tool. like ai might be able to speed up blood tests or screen for more things but its not gonna replace a good doctor yet. or can monitor everyone whos vitals are being monitored and can flag times for doctors to follow up on that arent life threatening that could be missed currently.
can we stop measuring phones at there thinnest and start at their thickest? im tired of camera bumps. i can deal with the extra width, i have a folding phone in a case already. make it thicker so we can have more battery, or add some features back like a 3.5mm headphone jack.
also why would every person need a webpage? i can at least get social media where you can see other peoples pages or posts or whatever and comment on it or chat through the service. but that wont work if we all have different webpages.
