It's as if someone asked ChatGPT to write an article suggesting that Carney, of all the prospective PMs, poses some kind of threat to central bank independence and even the AI was like no dude, you're thinking of Poilievre.
It's not yet anywhere near the level of human consciousness, but it looks like it's reached the point where it can experience some cognitive dissonance.
Smoking saves money for the healthcare system in the long run. When all costs are included the research supports the idea that people who smoke tend to die more quickly and inexpensively than those who don't. There are obviously some very good reasons to be opposed to tobacco use but that isn't one of them.
The health disadvantages of vaping on the other hand are small enough that (so far) they don't make any detectable difference to healthcare costs. It's probably not good for you but it's nothing like smoking. So long as substantial numbers of people are smoking, the way to save lives is to encourage them to switch to nicotine vapes as a first step. It is by far the most effective tool to help people quit.
Since you're already on btrfs it's probably better to actually use the features it has to expand your existing filesystem to cover both drives.
But if you just want to mount it somewhere and not worry about figuring out anything complicated, what I did is mount my big new cheap disk at /home/bigdisk and then have symlinks pointing to it such as ~/Videos -> /home/bigdisk/Videos.
Carney is remarkably good at presenting himself as a competent manager of the status quo economic system. A competent manager may not be what we need, but I guess it's better than what we've got.
I can imagine him practicing in the mirror for hours to get exactly the right arm motion for a Nazi salute that is imperfect by just enough that some people will contemplate the possibility that it wasn't one.
