By the time I’m “able” to retire, society will likely have either crumbled entirely or we might have passed onto a stage where we ensure that everyone has their basic needs met. Either way, this money isn’t going to help all that much. 🤷♀️
Given their governor and state legislature, I’m sure even if the people decide to approve it, the DeSatan and the rest will do everything they can to stop it, not unlike what is happening in my state.
I’m shocked they’re moving to ads when I’ve been paying them $4/month for Discord Nitro for several years now. Surely, that revenue is enough for their upkeep???
I purchased a new (to me) car the other day. Despite my age, this is the first time I’ve done this all on my own and I’m geeked over my credit score. ☺️
Dude! The Wire is the one of the best shows ever created! Watch on Max, rent DVDs from the library, or just do some normal piracy. You owe yourself a watch of The Wire.
Absolutely brilliant show. And yes, this is indicative of The Wire. 😅
I’ve used both Apple and Android and I highly prefer Apple. There’s plenty of stuff that Android can do, but despite that, I still prefer my iPhone.
This isn’t some ignorant sheep-think. I’m aware that I could get a phone with relatively similar hardware for half the cost of an iPhone. I prefer Apple. I love how iPhone and iPad integrate together and it is why I’ll continue purchasing those products.
For more intense computing, however, I highly prefer PCs because I dislike the MacOS environment. Everything that I enjoy on iPhone and iPad ”feel” stifling in a desktop setting. When it comes to gaming or getting work done, I have more flexibility through Windows or Linux than I “feel” I have on a Mac.
What I don’t understand is why it is so hard for other people accept that preferences are fine, and if someone is willing to accept what another person considers a restriction or an “upcharge”, it is their prerogative.
Even the houses in the middle of nowhere are $400K in my state. Rundown, off State Route X, nearest neighbors are all poor trash house? Still $400K.
I’m looking to build in the next year, and just expect that housing will be 50% of my pay or more because I’m sick of renting and being unable to prepare for when the rent shoots up $300 a month like it did last year.
Yep. I figured this is what had happened and it definitely worked on me. 🙃
