100K in Manhattan is nothing. My father was a principal earning $150K and still could barely get by in the city.

When apartments run total 40K annually, 100K is just a step above poverty wages.

That’s the key. Your coworker isn’t an illegal. They arrived the legit way (in theory). So, it’s those other dirty people who are ruining the country. Not the “immigrants”, but the illegals.

So, of course Trump wouldn’t deport them, right? The GOP fully appreciates the difference between a Guatemalan who came here and has a valid Green Card versus a Mexican who crossed a river, right? The people who refer to all of Latin America as “Mexican countries” wouldn’t just round up anyone too brown and revoke their status?

Seriously, though. “Christians” includes anyone within the net of the Abrahamic religions? This is the widest cast of people possible makes everything said after the title insignificant.

What might be significant, though, is the Muslim population that is disappointed in Harris for not taking a harder stance against Israel, and has threatened not to vote at all.

Personally, I think it’s asinine to avoid a vote because the options are between someone who is not taking a hard line against Israel, and another who is on the record saying that Israel should “finish the job”, but then… I’m not a single-issue voter, so these things affect me differently.

Not entirely. All cans currently made (at least for the US) have a super thin plastic liner to help the drink avoid taking on too much of a metallic taste.

There are multiple YouTubes out there that will show you what happens when you dissolve an aluminum can; the dissolution process removes the aluminum and leaves the plastic liner.
