Aeropress is the superior coffee method for 1 cup at a time. Quick, easy, effcient, and clean up is a breeze.
That being said, if I'm making any more than 1 cup at a time, I go for my my Moka Pot. Moka gets closer to that espresso experience, IMO, and is great for making lattes/cappucinos/americanos at home if you dont want to shell out hundreds for an ok espresso machine, or $1000+ for a really good one.
See, the thing is that they don't see themselves as living in fear. In their minds, they're fighting a righteous battle in the name of good and decency.
They're not scared, they're just looking for a fight anywhere and everywhere.
Yes and no. For example, I work in pest control and mostly lurked twitter for pest control content, as a lot of experts in that field used twitter exclusively and never bothered with facebook, instagram, reddit, discord, or any other networking site.
There is absolutely no pest control content from those experts on Mastodon at this time. Niche, I know, but its a concrete example about how not ever base is covered on Mastodon (yet).
Its silly to blame people for not flocking there when there is a demonstrable lack of content.
Of course business will try to exploit this to try and squeeze a little more labour from their workers, but what good is it in constantly being negative about developments like this?
I imagine that you would have complained about Henry Ford's crazy "40 hour work week" as a cynical ploy to drive up auto sales.
This is awesome. Just think of how much this will improve the quality of life if we can reduce the strain of repetitive stress injuries so people can spend more time enjoying their off time rather than just simply recovering from the wear and tear of their day job.
Yep, the centralizing of announcements is a bigger issue than link aggregation.
I work in pest control and want to follow several industry experts and guess what? They only use twitter to disseminate information because they're mostly academic and don't follow too much online drama.
I want to continue following them, but need to create a Twitter account to do so since Musk's new ideas broke the website recently and you can no longer lurk without an account.
So I am torn between trying to follow experts and improve myself as a professional, or cut myself off from that source of information in order to try and reduce the amount of traffic that twitter gets.
The problem here is that they used an old photo and shopped Mick Mars out and John5 in, because they either can't be bothered to take any new promo photos of the band, or the difference between how much better John 5 looks than the rest of those washed-up has-beens is so stark that they don't want to.
Don't look up
