One of the many reasons he moved to Texas. This is what you get when your state is so “business friendly”. All the complaining about California and the related regulations, but this is what those regulations are supposed to prevent (yes I know there are still plenty of examples of companies polluting in CA).
The Chevron ruling is absolutely a blatant effort to neuter all of these government oversight departments to allow businesses to accelerate their “line go up” polluting efforts.
And by that logic, old people shouldn’t get to vote anymore since “they’re not as invested in the future” either. See what happens to the GOP vote when klanma can no longer vote.
Personality and “vibe” are certainly factors, ESPECIALLY in motivating people (especially younger people) to vote. If young people actually voted, the GOP as it stands today would lose every time.
Tbh, I don’t think what I suggested was an actually viable solution, I was just pointing out the hypocrisy of the anti-immigration people. They just want a permanent class of vulnerable workers to exploit. If I had no morals and ran a business who exploited these low wage vulnerable workers, having the fear of being deported would certainly “keep them in line”, continue to work in these horrible conditions, and accept my low wages.
Of course none of the “illegal immigrant” discussions from the GOP touch on stemming the business side of things.
You want to strictly enforce illegal immigration and do mass deportation? Ok, but then we need to jail any business owner who hires undocumented workers. Massive fines and actual jail time.
Let see how Republican business owners feel about that. Dry up the demand for these jobs and the supply will decrease.
Of course I know these fascists will come up with excuses as to why they don’t want that since the benefit from a vulnerable working poor class of workers for them to exploit at farms, construction companies, hospitality jobs, etc.
I think it depends on the types of hunting. If it’s truly conservation focused, and culling is good for the broader population, then the hunting license fees can help support other conservation efforts.
That’s what a lot of the African big game hunting seems to be. Personally I still think those hunters are assholes, it if local wardens are targeting specific animals that are harming the population (usually older aggressive males), then is sounds like it benefits the local conservation efforts with large license fees.
And yet I’m sure the AIPAC would be totally ok with photo edits of Jewish candidates being stereotyped, right? It’s not like nobody has ever done that before.
Exactly. These “jokes” are like a kid “joking” that they want another piece of cake. If you say no, it’s “I was only kidding”, but if you say yes, they’ll eat that cake.
You mean like: the DNC picked Harris, nobody voted for her, or she’s a prosecutor/cop who locked away hundreds for dime bags of weed, or somehow linked to her being a “border czar” even though she never was one, or her laugh I guess?
Thankfully everything I’ve heard so far is a “throw everything at the wall to see what sticks” approach.
You’re right about the VP pick mudslinging though.
Wtf are you talking about? Oh, a .ml user. Ok then.
