  • Yes, and did you read wha ti said?... I agree with what you just said. The positive of physical card is that you can lend them. I still think it's a horrible product, and I'm afraid this will be the end of physical games.

  • That's a really dumb take. That's just the downside of physical media.

    The real problem of this is just the same as the digital games. Once the Nintendo switch store inevitably goes offline like the Wii and 3DS, your key card becomes useless e-waste no matter how good you care for it.

  • It's the visual spacing between letters, which usually involves some letters that have curves or corners to actually not strictly follow the spacing. For example the legs of the letter A might stick out a tiny bit in certain fonts. This gives text a more visually balanced kerning.

  • A friend who is very politically active (think gaza, queer rights and other leftist topics) refuses to use apps other than WhatsApp and Instagram because using any other apps is too much app switching. Meta is literally destroying democracies, but ya gotta have your comfy apps!

  • Resisting the urge to downvoted because this is a great question for this sub.

    A lot of it is historical and never changed for 100+ years. Same reason buttons are on opposite sides on men and women garments.

  • In the very loose meaning of "can walk". This road crosses several dangerous areas for multiple reasons, from war and jungles, to deserts and tundra, not to mention all the visas you'd need.
