  • The day I found out my SO and I have very different metabolisms was when we first tried edibles and he was high in less than 30 minutes, while I thought I was imune to it after 90 minutes or absolutely nothing. So I started making us snacks, only for it to hit me like a truck made of mind fog while holding a hot pan.

  • I guess it's luck of the draw. Children's personality is both nature and nurture, and some people are kinda bad at the nurture part. Also some people are just not that interest in what a baby has to say regardless of them being their baby. That's how you get parents constantly angry at their kids (and traumatized kids).

  • I'm so glad I switched to just home assistant and zigbee devices, and my radiators are dumb, so I could replace them with zigbee ones. Fuck making everything "smart" a subscription

  • That's kind of where I was going with my comment. 80 years ago, what these billionaires are doing was simply not possible. I'm not saying Hitler is not worse than Musk. Hitler could only dream about having this much power.

  • It all comes down to numbers. What's cheaper: recycling brand new phones and accessories for materials, harvesting parts, selling as refurbished, or shipping them to another country (if possible, because they might be targeted to certain markets). Whatever option is the most profitable, is what they'll chose. Sometimes the landfill is the cheapest option.

  • Hitler did horrible things the old way, with killing and hotting. In many ways, these billionaires are worse. Not wanting to defend him, but Hitler didn't try to meddle with all governments around the world and enslave the whole working class. If people like Elmo get his way, slavery would be back on the menu.

  • There are a few rare gems, but gameplay design has evolved a lot. It's worse than watching comedies from the 50s.

My first Zelda was BOTW so I decided I would play Ocarina of Time and Majora's mask. Man, the amount of aimlessly walking around and boring empty fields gets old very fast. Puzzles are either trivially obvious, impossibly obscure or super hard.
