On what basis do you believe they should not be allowed to run? It's a democracy, outside of a small handful of qualifiers, anybody can run.

If your actual question is "why have the major parties chosen these two individuals?" then that's much more complicated.

Grew in that age too. Just cause you are playing games that are shitty doesn't mean games are shitty now. The game market is bigger than it's ever been. Game has forced online play and microtransactions? Don't buy it.

There was tons of absolute garbage in the 80s. There's tons of great stuff now. If you've lost your sense of discovery that seems more like a you thing than a "games are bad now" thing.

P.S. go play Tunic if you haven't already.

I've always thought the soulsborne games encourage taking advantage of everything you can. Kite enemies. Pick them off from a distance with a bow. Summon a friend to help. The systems are there, they didn't get created by accident, feel free to use them as you see fit. Or don't. Just don't be a judgey asshole towards other people for how they play.

Devil's advocate here. Does not pretty much any post on the subject of politics that is not simply reporting constitute an attempt to manipulate public opinion? Are they specifically referencing nation states trying to influence public opinion?

There are a lot of entry level jobs that basically assume new employees know nothing, anyway. Seems like this will just further devalue degrees and emphasize work experience for hiring.

That's true for soda and beer lines, too...
