  • You’re expecting too much if you believe they formed their opinion by reading the article.

  • They’re reconfiguring the game as on on-rails shooter. /s

  • Gramma’s time’s almost up.

  • I wonder if you could combine this with Power over Ethernet to also charge the device?

  • Is it on a SUNDAY (SUNDAY… Sunday) or a MONDAY (MONDAY… Monday)?

  • A Logitech headset for my PC and an older MacBook Pro. Everything else I have is a variety of USB standards or Lightning. Oh, and a couple of Raspberry Pi’s but I don’t know that really counts. My best friend also does this a bit; almost all of his tech is new-ish and uses USB-C so he forgets that not everyone has a bunch of USB-C devices.

  • neighbours haven’t said shit.

    Probably too scared.

“FollyDolly’s out screaming again. I’m gonna say something!”

“No, don’t. It’ll be more trouble than what it’s worth.”

    “They’re scaring the children!”

“And what if they come back with a knife? What then, Karen?”

“Ok, but I’m writing it in my FollyDolly Scream Journal for evidence.”

  • If Gabe ever leaves Valve and the powers that be decide to go public I hope it’s done in a way that gives power to the users instead of faceless investment firms. I don’t even know what that would look like but I fear the day that Valve comes under control of an ex-AAA game company CEO or the like.

  • Went and had a look and it’s some of the funniest stuff I’ve seen all day! A few images come close to realism but a lot of them are the sort AI fever dream stuff that you could not make up.

  • Speed Home California intensifies

  • It seems so arbitrary. Since their developers have already done the legwork to make it work for that specific use-case you could assume that it would be relatively easy to implement it for pretty much everything.

  • SMR aren’t a bad idea, they’re just not a ‘now idea’. In the short term our current renewable systems are doing exactly what we intended them to do.

Frankly this is just dog whistling to climate deniers to throw further discourse towards wind, solar and storage. But with that being said; having nuclear base-load available would strengthen our energy supply in times of need.

  • I love Fallout 3 and even I was like “I don’t know about that broooo”.

  • Yeah, I don’t know who’s thinking Yhatzee is only doing positive reviews. I watch him regularly but I always keep in mind that it could be a 10/10 game that everyone loves and his show is predominantly about shitting on games so he’ll tear it to shreds for entertainment.

  • It replaces what was, to me, a worthless switch. I used the switch maybe once a month. So yeah, it’s a benefit.

  • Interesting how negative the takes are here. USB-C, AOD, a better telephoto lens, action button and future proof SOC (which is fairly standard for iPhones) has convinced me to upgrade from my iPhone 12PM.

The trade in price offered for my old phone was a big part of the reason I’m sticking with Apple over my next option, Pixel Pro. Saves me from having to deal with marketplace. The Australian pricing seems (from memory) to be pretty comparable to what I paid for my 12PM, which considering inflation and the weak Australian dollar is pretty good.
