  • Can it? On paper they should be enough for people to get out of the hamster wheel a millions time over, but the oligarchs all managed to trap themselves in their own guilded cages with shiny gold plated hamster wheels. The dysfunction that allows people to become billionaires and still sleep at night also prevents them from ever being free.

  • They could be welcomed into the EU in a heartbeat.

Assuming they completely changed their food and product regulations and adapted everything from agricultural and animal husbandry to building codes to match the EU overnight.

Otherwise it's more of a decades long process.

Even CETA is still not ratified because Canadian ranchers and farmers still insist on using growth hormones and have trouble dealing with European GMO tracking and labelling.

  • Macron, like Trump, is a narcissist. It doesn't manifest quite as badly as Trump's narcissism but you can see it everywhere - look at how he interacts with the French parliament or how he acts when French people disagree with him.

It's part of why they clash so badly in public.

  • The lackeys were the ones actually doing the illegal act. To sue Trump they will need to prove he gave direct orders to censor media and that it's not a "will no one rid me of this turbulent priest?" situation. And even in that case the lackeys still need to be held accountable for following illegal orders.

  • Of course it's feasible, that's why there are courts. And even if they lost in court they could leave the British market instead of complying. But Apple will always kiss boot no matter how much they tell their cult otherwise.

  • It's just an involuntary hand movement, like when someone reaches for glasses they are already wearing, or reach out for a phone that's not in the pocket. He got the habit from all the times he does the Nazi salute behind closed doors. /s (but I wouldn't be surprised if it's actually true)
